This harpoon head cover was used by Stephen Angulalik and his family. He was a hunter, trapper and trader who lived at Perry River area and later moved to Cambridge Bay.

Significance
Inuit were very careful to care for tools and weapons because it took great effort to make them. Maintaining sharp edges was essential so protective coverings were common.
